Welcome to the new site!

Hello, and welcome to the new site!  We're really happy to release our new album, Down the Road, to the world.  We've been working on this album on and off over the last two years, and we're very happy with the way it came out!  This record is very special to us because it's the first album that is an equal collaboration between my sister, Naomi, my father, Phil, and myself.  And it features my mom, Beth, singing harmony as well!  Also, we think it sounds good!

Our family has been playing gigs together for over twenty years.  I think our first concert was at the Guilford (CT) Library.  I was about ten years old, and Naomi was thirteen.  I had been playing trumpet for less than a year at the time!  The concert went well enough so that no one got emotionally scarred or anything like that, and we've been maturing musically (and personally) together ever since.

Over the years we've played countless concerts together and spent hundreds of hours practicing and jamming in my parents living room.  Both my sister and myself have followed in our father's footsteps, and have made careers in music.  We've all played on each other's albums, but until now, we had never recorded an album together as equal contributors.

Over the last seven years, Naomi had been living in Germany, which made recording the album a bit difficult.   We had to sneak in trips to Phil's recording studio during Naomi's visits home to get it all recorded!  

We finally got the record done, and all had a great time doing it.  And the good news - Naomi has just recently moved back to the US, so now we can finally start to perform together much more frequently.
